About
Gen Z’s gender gap has exploded. In the U.S. and around the world, young men are increasingly diverging from young women on political and cultural issues. This shift underscores mounting challenges–social isolation, elevated suicide rates, educational deficits, economic stagnation, and harmful online influences that erode social and democratic cohesion.
Young Men Research Project (YMRP) was founded in early 2024 by experts in youth civic engagement, demographic research, and communications to tackle this challenge. Through cutting-edge opinion polling, strategic insights, and targeted partnerships, we equip pro-democracy and pro-equality organizations with data-driven insights to effectively reach young men, counter divisive narratives, and advocate for a more inclusive society. Our analysis, which includes two major national polls conducted with YouGov, has been cited in NPR, MSNBC, The Guardian, The New Republic, The Dispatch, Newsweek, and Ms. Magazine, while shaping coverage in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and other major outlets.
